Coronation Street spoilers: Peter’s arrested for motorbike theft | Soaps

Outside the garage, Peter tells Kevin (Michael Le Vell) and Abi (Sally Carman) how he bet Carla he could trade up from an onion bhaji to a motorbike and that the deadline is this evening.

Busy rushing around trying to get the bet sorted, Peter is helped by Abi, who hands him the contact details of a guy with a bike for sale.

What are the chances!

When Benn (with two N’s, yes, similar to Phill with two L’s) pops by Number 1 with the bike, Peter can’t believe his luck when Benn agrees to swap it in return for his tablet.

Later on, Peter is left feeling a fool when Craig’s (Colson Smith) colleague, Jess, asks him why he’s in possession of a stolen bike.

But how can he get out of this one?

Can Peter prove that he didn’t steal the bike?

And who was Benn, and why did he have a stolen motorbike?

Potentially a light and comical storyline, yes, but maybe it will lead to something more?

So many questions.
